About Lauren

I'm glad you're here.  My name is  Lauren Green and I'm a  Professional Licensed Counselor (LPC) and Psychotherapist.   I provide telehealth therapy for adults living in the state of Pennsylvania.     

I believe that psychological healing can take place through the process of therapy.  Problems that seem insurmountable can become manageable.  

• You can gain skills and insight to reduce your anxiety and depression.  
• You can minimize conflict in relationships to experience greater harmony.  
• You can learn how to value yourself more.  

All of these things are possible!

Understanding the human mind and behavior has remained a compelling interest of mine.  Since adolescence, I have viewed the world from a psychological lens.  It was natural for me to pursue my B.A. in Psychology and to earn a surplus of credits in my major.  I followed this with my first Master's degree in Research Methods in Education and the Behavioral Sciences.   

While completing my first postgraduate degree, I launched my career doing intake-evaluation with severely mentally ill and addicted clients.  It could be intensely challenging but also rewarding.  Later on, I worked in various positions including Case Manager, Case Coordinator and Behavioral Specialist.  Gradually, I came to realize that I wanted to become a Licensed Psychotherapist.  So, I went back to school and obtained my second Master's degree in Counseling Psychology.

As a result of both my professional experience and ongoing training, I have a strong knowledge base and extensive exposure to clients from diverse backgrounds.  I have conducted therapy in a range of modalities including Individual, Couples, Family, Child and Group therapy.
